1. Introduction
Welcome to Snap Cars Ltd. By booking our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all users of our services and are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
2. Booking and Confirmation
- Booking Process: Bookings can be made via our website, telephone, or email. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Booking Confirmation: Once a booking is made, a confirmation email will be sent to the customer. This email will contain the details of the booking, including pick-up time, location, and driver information.
3. Payments
- Payment Method: We accept payments in advance via debit or credit card only. Cash payments are not accepted.
- Payment Confirmation: A payment receipt will be issued once the payment is processed successfully.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations can be made up to 6 hours before the scheduled pick-up time without any charges. Cancellations made within 6 hours of the pick-up time will incur the full charge.
- Refunds: For eligible cancellations, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days. An administrative fee may apply.
5. Changes to Bookings
- Amendments: Any changes to the booking, such as additional stops or change in route, must be communicated in advance and may incur additional charges.
- Flight Tracking: We track flight arrivals and will adjust the pick-up time accordingly. No extra charges will apply for delays or cancellations caused by flight changes.
6. Waiting Time
- Home and Hotel Pick-ups: A 5-minute waiting time is included free of charge. After that, a waiting fee of £5.00 for the next 12 minutes, followed by £0.40 per minute, will be applied.
- Airport Pick-ups: A 60-minute waiting time is included free of charge from the actual landing time. After that, a waiting fee will be applied as per the above rates.
7. Passenger and Luggage Responsibilities
- Vehicle Type: It is the passenger’s responsibility to book the correct type of vehicle for the number of passengers and amount of luggage. If the vehicle cannot accommodate the excess, we reserve the right to cancel the service with full charges applied.
- Additional Passengers and Luggage: Must be communicated in advance. Extra charges may apply for additional passengers or luggage not specified at the time of booking.
8. No Smoking Policy
As per UK law, smoking is strictly prohibited in all our vehicles. Failure to comply may result in the termination of the service without a refund.
9. Liability
- Service Disruptions: Snap Cars Ltd is not liable for delays caused by severe traffic, road closures, extreme weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Passenger Conduct: Passengers are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that does not jeopardize the safety of the driver or vehicle. Snap Cars Ltd reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who are deemed to pose a risk.
10. Special Conditions
- Seasonal Surcharge: Prices will be 50% higher on 24th, 25th, 26th December, and 1st January due to limited driver availability.
- Child Seats: We provide child seats upon request but cannot guarantee availability. Passengers are responsible for fitting the seat and ensuring it meets their child’s needs.
11. Data Protection
- Privacy Policy: We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use your personal information in accordance with our privacy policy, which complies with UK data protection laws.
