Skyways Cars – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to SKYWAYS Cars. By using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (the “Terms”). These Terms govern all aspects of our relationship with you, including booking, payment, cancellation, and service provision. They are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. Booking and Confirmation

• Booking Process: Bookings can be made through our website (www.skywayscars.co.uk), by phone (Ph 01279 927092), or by email (booking@skywayscars.co.uk). All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
• Confirmation: Once a booking is made, you will receive a confirmation email with details like pick-up time, location, driver information, and the total fare.

3. Payments

• Payment Methods: We accept payments in advance via debit or credit card only. We do not accept cash payments.
• Payment Confirmation: Upon successful payment processing, you will receive a payment receipt.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellation Policy:
  • You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the pick-up time will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total fare.
  • Cancellations made within 6 hours of the pick-up time will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total fare.
• Refunds:
  • For eligible cancellations, a refund will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method used.
  • The cancellation fee (if applicable) will be deducted from the refund amount.

5. Changes to Bookings

• Amendments: Any changes to your booking, such as pick-up location, destination, or number of passengers, must be communicated as soon as possible. We will try our best to accommodate your request, and any additional charges will be communicated clearly.
• Flight Tracking: We monitor flight arrival times and will adjust pick-up times accordingly for airport transfers. No additional charges apply for delays caused by flight changes.

6. Waiting Time

• Home and Hotel Pick-ups: We offer a complimentary waiting time of 15 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time. After that, a waiting fee of £5.00 will be applied for every 15 minutes.
• Airport Pick-ups: We offer a complimentary waiting time of 60 minutes from the actual flight landing time. After that, a waiting fee of £5.00 will be applied for every 15 minutes.

7. Passenger and Luggage Responsibilities

• Vehicle Selection: It is your responsibility to choose the appropriate vehicle size for your passengers and luggage. We reserve the right to refuse service if the booked vehicle cannot accommodate your party or luggage.
• Additional Passengers and Luggage: Any additional passengers or luggage beyond what was specified at the time of booking must be communicated beforehand. Additional charges may apply.

8. No Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our vehicles in accordance with UK law. Failure to comply may result in the termination of service without a refund.

9. Liability

• Service Disruptions: SKYWAYS Cars is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as heavy traffic, road closures, extreme weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
• Passenger Conduct: Passengers are expected to behave in a manner that ensures the safety of the driver and the vehicle. SKYWAYS Cars reserves the right to refuse service to disruptive passengers.

10. Special Conditions

• Seasonal Surcharges: During peak seasons (dates to be specified), prices may be subject to surcharges. We will clearly communicate any applicable surcharges at the time of booking.
• Child Seats: We can provide child seats upon request, but availability cannot be guaranteed. Passengers are responsible for ensuring the child seat is suitable for their child and installing it correctly.

11. Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your personal information will only be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with UK data protection laws.

13. Entire Agreement
